Tankwarfare 1.0 a Payback map by Samuel Regandell 020330 This is a deathmatch map involving four tanks in terrain designed for them to be able to outmaneuver each other. The map is divided in several sections. In the lower middle is a highland section with many different slopes. This links to a flatter area with farmhouses (using custom made textures) containing many hidden secrets. North there is river and a lake containing a castle. The castle is like an arena. Try to get to higher ground or escape by swimming to shore. The little island sports a boat. It is possible to maneuver down the canal (although the bridges are rather low). But at the end there are plenty of firepower. The two cities have "road bumps" all over. This is to allow pursuing tank missiles to miss by some quick maneuvering. By getting on the roofs in the northern town you can get to one of the parked tanks. The norhthwestern part is a plain shootout labyrinth. You have to get to the higher level for weapons. There is also a tank somewhere up there. Note that all the raised cubes are of equal height, så you can shoot at each other and hit. Two tank hangars are placed in the grasslands and the southern town respectively. Note that there is no routing information in this map - in single player rampage, the cops will just move about randomly. This is a deathmatch map, nothing more, nothing less.
